Please note that all of the airlines below usually make a stop in La Ceiba
(on the mainland coast) prior to continuing on to Roatan. Usually you get
off the plane for about 15 minutes and then you either reboard or they put
you on a different plane. La Ceiba airport does have they most majestic
view of the Pico Bonito mountain range there in La Ceiba . It will take
your breath away! TACA- Please see TACA's website on-line. You can check the website for its current schedules. Sometimes it lists its flights to Roatan and sometimes it doesn't. Taca also has flights from certain US cities and also flights from San Salvador, El Salvador. Those cities and schedules can be found on it's website. Round trip flights are approximately $160.00 roundtrip per person. These are smaller planes, but they are newer and nice. ISLENA AIRLINES Roatan # 011-504-445-1998 (from the US) Islena Airlines also has a website at www.flyislena.com You can check schedules and fares on this site but it does not allow one to book over the internet. But you can call and reserve direct over the phone in Roatan at 011-504-445-1998 from the US. They can give you rates and schedules. You will need to check the schedule from San Pedro to La Ceiba and then La Ceiba to Roatan as it makes a stop in La Ceiba. SOSA AIRLINES La Ceiba # 011-504-443-0894. (from the US) We have flown Sosa before. We have always just walked up and were able to get a flight. They do have a website that is rather amusing, but worthless for any information. I give Roatan reservation phone numbers where possible because there is usually a representative that speaks English there. |
